-William Hardin Lyon came to Hendricks co,IN in ca.1821; he bought a
 65.88 acre farm in Marion twp about 1-1/2 miles East of New Winchester,
 near the Putnam County Line
-In 1832 William Hardin Lyon and his father-in-law Parks Brittain were
 each fined 50 cents for illegal assembly by Hendricks County Court;
 they are presumed to have been electioneering
