Not a lot is known about the progenitors of this Hall family. They are included here because of their importance as a line collateral to the Baker family of Martin County. The Rev. John Hall was a farmer and country minister in Indian Creek twp. He secondly married the widow of Armsted Baker of Martin County. Three of his sons married Baker girls.
