 taken when the graveyard was paved over:
 "Richmond, Thomas/Mary - This stone is to perpetuate the memory of
 Thomas Richmond who departed this life on the 1st day of Dec. 1840 in
 the 84th year of his life.  Also, Mary, the wife of Thomas Richmond,
 who departed this life on the 17th day of July, 1831 in the 84th year
 of her age."  Death date from stone presumed date of burial for Thomas.
